With the new C 63 AMG Coupe, Mercedes-AMG unveils a high-performance car with an individual character. This model, which appeals to all senses, combines a unique design with a powerful, agile and dynamic powertrain.
The new Coupé comes alongside the classic sedan and the functional station wagon in the AMG C-Class range. The C 63 AMG Coupe allows Mercedes-AMG GmbH to expand the AMG coupe family by adding a new dream car powered by a super-powerful eight-cylinder engine to its program, which includes the CLS 63 AMG and CL 63 AMG.
The 6.3-litre AMG V8 engine delivers a maximum power and torque of 336 kW (457 hp) and 600 Nm respectively, enabling the C 63 AMG Coupe to achieve record performance: only 4.5 seconds for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h and 250 km/h (electronic clamping). With these stopwatches, the new AMG two-door coupe takes the lead in its segment.
All technological updates made to the C 63 AMG Sedan and Break also benefit the coupe. AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT MCT 7-speed sports transmission with "Controlled Efficiency" driving program and the new power steering pump help to reduce fuel consumption. The C 63 AMG Coupe requires 12.0 l to travel 100 km (new European mixed cycle).
The AMG Performance Pack features some distinctive features, such as the titanium grey intake manifold in the engine compartment, the high-performance AMG braking system with composite brake discs at the front and red four-wheel brake callipers, the AMG carbon deflector on the trunk lid and the AMG Nappa leather Performance steering wheel with Alcantara® grip area.
The coupé version of the C 63 AMG also stands out for its confident and athletic appearance, which is reminiscent of the ultra-powerful roadster's lines.
